items and total amounts when using the AI scanning feature.

2. How We Use Your Data
We process your personal data solely for the following purposes:
- To create your account and verify your identity.
- To facilitate group settlements and synchronize debt records.

AI-Assisted Processing: Automatically recognizing data on receipts to facilitate item-based and
fast expense splitting.
- To send you push notifications (e.g., when a new expense is added).
- To ensure platform security (e.g., enforcing Row Level Security protocols).
- To comply with applicable legal obligations.

Your expense and group data are shared only with other members of the respective group, as is
the fundamental nature of the App.

Your data is protected using industry-standard encryption protocols. Access to our databases is strictly limited,
and in-app data is securely isolated from unauthorized users.

You may request the deletion of your account and personal data at any time via the App or our support channels.
When you perform the "Delete Account" action:
- Your personal identity data (name, email, IBAN, profile picture) is permanently deleted from our systems.

To maintain the financial integrity of groups and the accuracy of balances for other members, transaction
records and group history will be preserved as anonymized entries (e.g., as "Former User").

Server logs required by law to be retained will be kept for the duration mandated by applicable regulations.

correction of inaccuracies, restrict processing, and request the deletion of your personal data.
